Armin heaved a breath as he rest his hands on his knees. He let out another cough, choking down the vomit that threatened to spill over. Who knew the guilt for killing a person would take such a toll on him?
He crouched down to the floor, balancing on the balls of his feet, and held his head in his hands. That person had a life. Had goals and dreams. Had a purpose to live. Had a family that needed and loved them. And he just took all of that away from her. And the family may not even get a chance to see her dead body since he basically blew her face off.
He had already told Mikasa to go back inside the barn. He didn't want anyone to see him throwing up or crying. It seemed that the wave of nausea had finally ended, so it only left him to muffle his sobs.
His eyes widened at the soft voice. He raised his sleeve to his eyes and wiped his tears away. "L-Leave me alone." He stuttered, staring at the grass below him.
"It's just me." You whispered.

There you were. Facing the truth but still trying to deny the fact that it was her. Annie was a titan. She was there right in front of you in titan form. She just turned into her but you still refused to accept the fact it was her.
"This is not her," you whispered but the wind carried your voice away.
"(Name) just accept the fact that it's her and that she's the enemy," said a soldier next to you.
"She's not the bad guy. To you she may be, but to me she is still the same Annie I know," you said in a whisper only
